I. Nuclear Deterrent Patrols are directed for the following:
A. Typhoon class submarines (SSBN)
1. Typhoon class SSBN will be assigned from the Pacific and Northern Fleets for 1 month rotations in each of the following:
a. B1, Pacific Fleet
b. B2, Northern Fleet
c. B3, Northern Fleet
2. Cognizant Fleets will provide 2 SSN to protect each bastion
B. Delta IV/V class submarines (SSBN)
1. Delta SSBN will be assigned to each of the following patrol areas on a 60 day rotation, routes and patrol paths to be provided to individual submarine commanders via separate msg from Naval High Command
a. Area A: Pacific Fleet
b. Area B: Pacific Fleet
c. Area C: Pacific Fleet
d. Area D: Pacific Fleet
e. Area AA: Northern Fleet
f. Area AB: Northern Fleet
g. Area AC: Northern Fleet
h. Area AD Northern Fleet
II. Other Submarine Operations
A. SSN/SSGN Patrols on a 60 day rotation
1. Per normal the fleets will provide SSN Patrols of 1 unit in the following areas:
a. 1: Pacific Fleet
b. 2: Pacific Fleet
c. 3: Pacific Fleet
d. 4: Pacific Fleet
e. 5 Pacific Fleet
f. A1: Black Sea Fleet
g. A2: Baltic Fleet
h. A3: Northern Fleet
i. A4: Northern Fleet
j. A5: Northern Fleet
k. A6: Northern Fleet
l. A7: Northern Fleet
m. M1: Black Sea Fleet
2. Cognizant Fleets will assign SSGN to the following:
a. 1: Pacific Fleet
b. 2: Pacific Fleet
c. 5: Pacific Fleet
d. A1: Black Sea Fleet
e. A2: Baltic Fleet
f. A3: Northern Fleet
g. A4: Northern Fleet
h. A6 Northern Fleet
C. Diesel Submarine Patrols, on a sixty day rotation
1. Cognizant Fleets will assign one SS and one SSG to each of the following:
a. D1: Baltic Fleet
b. D2: Baltic Fleet
c. D3: Black Sea Fleet
d. MA: Black Sea Fleet
e. MB: Black Sea Fleet
f. MO: Black Sea Fleet
g. ML: Black Sea Fleet
III. Intelligence Gathering (AGI) Assignments.
A. In addition to those assignments as determined by individual fleet commands, AGI will patrol the following areas on a 90 day rotation:
1. Northern Fleet:
a. Area AW
b. Area AX
c. Area AY
d. Area AW
2. Baltic Fleet
a. Area AT
b. Area AU
c. Area AV
3. Black Sea Fleet
a. Area MS

Cognizant Commanders will issue appropriate notices to mariners/ notices to airmen 2 weeks before commencement of exercises.
V. Regular Changes of Station (annual rotation of units)
Baltic Fleet: 2 AO, 1 AR, 1 AD, 1 AS Havanna, 1 Nov
Black Sea Fleet: 2 AO, 1 AR, 1 AS, 1 AD, 1 AE Station R1 (Gulf of Sirte)

Note to players: these sorts of exercises and regular operations are events that tend to happen on about the same dates, every year, so you can pretty well project this into the next year as well, barring say, a war. However the other side will have a good feel for your normal exercise schedules and be watching for them (not to mention just watching them). Historically Russian subs, except the boomers, relieve on station, in other words they meet and the relieved vessel goes home while the relieving vessel remains.
