Nuclear Attack and Nuclear Guided missile submarines

These subs represent the Russia's chief anti-shipping threat in the North Atlantic. Currently, all nuclear subs are due to be rewelded along a faulty seam in the reactor core, a problem that is caused by vibration of the engines over an extended period of time and could lead to a sudden leakage of nuclear material which has become a major problem militarily and environmentally. Bowing to political pressure, all nuclear subs have been recalled to port and will remain stationary until the problem can be corrected. There are four berths for repairing subs, so that four subs can be worked on simultaneously. Estimated time to repair this problem is 2 weeks regardless of sub class.

Northern Fleet Strategic Bastion

Under direct command of RU Strategic Command and NorFleet CINC. Reactor core problem has not occured on most of these boats due to limited range of voyages, though it is becoming a problem for some of the older boats. Main problem is a shortage of qualified crew. This could be resolved by a committed effort at recruitment for these subs, which would probably create of other branches of the navy.

Repairs

All estimated repair times are based on shipyards working at OVERTIME level, with all eight slips being occupied. To accelerate the repair of a select few ships, either increase the workshifts or make sure the total number of ships being worked on is fewer than eight. Repairs do not include replenishment of supplies.

Construction

Estimated time of completion for ships under construction assumes shipyards are working at OVERTIME level, and that a maximum number of ships (eight) are being worked on. Construction projects are done at shipbuilding yards and have no bearing on projects under repair.
