INFORMATION ON ANGMAGSSALIK:

Angmagssalik airport is a year-round civilian airport with 3 runways (1 4000 ft., 2 3000 ft.).

No weapons or military storage facilities are located here.

Shoals just to the south and southeast of the airport make an amphibious landing nearly impossible in this area. Sector 506 appears to be a much more accessbile approach, though any forces landing there will eventually have to move east in order to take over the airport.
