20th Corps

1st Echelon

Background:

Due to its smaller size and lower logistics requirements, 20th Corps has been able to mobilize more quickly than the other full-sized army formations on this front. This, combined with its favorable location in the Kalingrad district near the Polish border, makes this unit a valuable, early-entry force with the capability of either advancing along the Baltic and securing ports or acting in support of other army operations to the south. However, while technically assigned to the first echelon, it should be noted that 20th Corps is actually made up of 2nd echelon units equipped with older tanks and APCs. Also, divisional commanders take note: personnel files indicate that the regimental commanders are untested in battle and may exhibit unpredictable or erratic behavior in the face of an expecially furious or chaotic battle. This trait will most likely lessen as they gain experience under fire, however.

Combat History:
