Background:

This is the army group headquarters for the Russian offensive in Poland. Other Front headquarers include the Northwestern Front HQ based in St. Petersberg which controls all operations in the Baltic and Scandinavia, and the Southern Front, based in Odessa, which oversees operations in the Balkans as well as the Caucasus and Black Sea regions.

This headquarters is fully operational.
