I have a Windows 7 OS, for my file structure, the maps go into C:ProgramData/eSim Games/Steel Beasts/maps/height or . . ./maps/terrain. The scenario goes in Libraries/Documents/eSim Games/Steel Beasts/My Scenarios.
I had to rename the map files with the appropriate extentions (*.hgt and *.ter, respectively) in order to open the map in the editor.
